Our Vision

Takane Academy seeks to change children’s lives, that they may step into a victorious and fruitful future in Jesus.

Despite the challenges they may face in their social circumstances, these young children can become leaders and role models through a good education.

At Takane, we currently have 100 learners, ages 3-15 (Grade 00 to Grade 9), 8 educators, 2 support staff members, and 3 ground staff members.

Information about Caroline

Administrator - Joyce Yeboah Addo

Joyce began working as an educator at Takane in 2016. She then also handled the administration, but has now become the full-time Administrator. She loves her job, smiles a lot, and always expects to have a bright day. A parent may come in upset about something, but the moment they see Joyce, they calm down. This is one of Joyce’s many strengths. She is keen to build a strong social media presence for Takane.

She is married with 2 children, a girl and a boy. Joyce loves having worship in the school with the kids. At present they only have one drum, but the voices in worship are wonderful.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

A word from Julius, one of our educators:

Takane is a God-fearing school, and we try and uplift the morals of the students so that they can trust God no matter what they are doing, what they are passing through, or what challenges they are facing. We encourage them to keep going and never give up. Takane Academy is ‘a school that is built under a tree’ and I have a vision to see that this should be a tree which, one day, will be a very big tree with many roots. That is my dream.

I’d like to invite our benefactors, those that are supporting us financially, to come and visit the school, so that they can see how their finances have uplifted the school and the community – and that the school is in good hands. I am sure they will see that Takane Academy is a place of higher inspiration that will act as an example for people to follow in generations to come.

I’d like to thank the people that are supporting us, as well as the staff and administrators, and not forgetting our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.
